Canoeing, kayaking and raft-building

Daerwynno Outdoor Centre owns open canoes, kayaks and the required safety equipment. In addition, the centre offers raft-building activity, where groups build their own craft to paddle across a stretch of water.

Safety is paramount on the water, and we enjoy a good pupil-instructor ratio, with nationally qualified instructors, both in the water and around the banks. Most water-based activities take part in the summer months, due to the cold temperatures, but adult groups may venture into the water all year round, if desired.
