This website is provided to give you information about
the Daerwynno Outdoor Centre and the surrounding area. The
Centre is based in a two-storey, stone-built farmhouse situated
in the St Gwynno Forest near Ynysybwl, Rhondda Cynon Taf,
south Wales.
We offer many outdoor activities and educational courses
throughout the year, including orienteering, climbing, canoeing,
team-building and wildlife and environmental studies.
The surrounding forest is an ideal location for these activities.
The Clydach reservoir, a beauty spot in itself, is within
a few hundred metres of the Centre.
Daerwynno Outdoor Centre is run by the Cwm Clydach Outdoor
Activity Group, a registered charity. The group comprises
two part-time staff and a dedicated team of volunteers who
manage the Centre and provide all activities.
